good morning
I have a small challenge on my hands. A friends daughter has asked me to take her matric dance photographs in September.
Now being an appy motorsport and landscape photographer this is something completely new to me. So here I am asking for some advice, from everything to what is the best equipment (low budget) to be using, the types of shots I should be looking for, different poses, full photos, close ups etc.
Then what to watch for, shadows across the eyes, stray hairs, don't cut off the feet.
I have no idea yet whether the shoot will be indoors or outdoors, possibly both.
My current kit included
Canon 40D
EFS 18-55mm IS
EF 55-200mm 1:4.5-5.6 USM
EF 75-300mm 1:4-5.6 III USM
Tripod
I'm going to have to invest in a flash I suspect.
Then I'm thinking that the 55-200 is possibly the better of my choices. I do not want to be too in her face with the 50mm lens.
Or should I hire something better for the day?
