Posting images on the forum
« on: April 11, 2011, 06:09:00 PM »
This is a quick tutorial to post the images you would like to share on the forums.

Firstly, you will need an account with one of the many image hosting sites. I will discuss Photobucket and Flicker.

Using your favourite image editing software (Photoshop, Elements, Lightroom, Apeture, etc), process and resize the image that you want to upload to the Forum (max image size - 800x600 pixels)

To upload the image to the hosting site you have two options: Using the upload facility of the hosting site or publish it to the hosting site from an image editor like Lightroom or Apeture.

To upload images to the Forum using Photobucket:

Press the "Upload" button.
Select the image on your hard drive and follow the prompts.
Hold your mouse pointer over the uploaded image and more options will become available. Select "Img Code". The image code will then be copied (automatically) to the clipboard.
Paste (ctrl v) your image in your posting on the forum.

To upload images to the Forum using Flicker:

Press the "Upload Photos and Video" button.
Select the image on your hard drive and follow the prompts.
Right click on the uploaded image in Flicker and select the "Copy Link Location" button.
Paste (ctrl v) your image in your posting on the Forum.

Dankie Pierre ... ek is seker baie mense gaan die nodig kry.
Capture it when you see it ... it is a mere moment in time and will never come by again.
